During this session, you and your Consultant will discuss your personal hair care history, your styling preferences, and your lifestyle in order to determine if this is right for you. You will also have a cluster of 12 "SAMPLE LOCKS" put in your hair to see if they will hold, check sizes, verify the amount of scalp showing, settling-in time, etc. The consultation is essential for both you and your Consultant to ensure you get your locks done in the most suitable way.

The locking process can take 25 hours or even longer in some cases over multiple days. The average customer receives an average of 400 locks and a whole new attitude! Your Consultant will provide you with a "Starter Kit" that includes the proper shampoo for starting your locks, tiny rubber bands, and "tip sheets" on grooming and shampooing as your locks settle in. Be sure to schedule your follow-up visit before you leave. Prices start at $900 based on hair length, texture, and density.

This visit should be scheduled after at least two weeks which from the date of your Locking Session. Your Consultant will monitor the integrity of your locs, shampoo your hair, and give you an idea of how long the settling-in process is likely to take. You can also begin discussing styling tips for the 'total look' that's right for you! This session must be scheduled and completed no later than three weeks after the completion of your Sisterlocks™ establishment.

Re-tightening is recommended every 4-6 weeks. Sisterlocks™ are low maintenance, however, consistent maintenance is required for best results. This service will take 3+ hours for completion. The proper appointment length will be booked based on information gathered during your initial phone call or consultation. Clients will be assessed an additional $30 for each week over 6 weeks since your last re-tightening. Additional fees may apply if additional time, maintenance or repairs are required

This service includes a clarifying shampoo for your Sisterlocks™. Braiding and banding is included, if necessary. *Styling is extra.

Style for your Sisterlocks™ I currently offer the following styling services: Roller set, Bantu knots, Soft Spike Curler set, and Pipe Cleaner set. The hair will be lightly misted to moisten, set in the method of your choice, and dried under a hair dryer. Curlers will then be removed and the hair finger-combed/styled. This is often the go-to technique for pencil-sized traditional locs. To start locs with comb coils or twists, you only need about 3 inches of hair, depending on your desired end result. This is performed to improve the strength and look of the loc. Locs Maintenance begins at $150 for up to four hours of work. Additional work may be performed for $40 per hour.

Interlocking is a technique in which the end of the hair or loc is pulled through the root to form a loc or to tighten the loc to the scalp. This technique can be achieved with a tool or with the fingers. Establishing locs by Interlocking begins at $ 750 for up to 4 inches of hair length and $75 for each additional inch of hair length. Loc Extensions by iTrans4orm includes combining hair and faux Locs up to 12 inches long. Price starts at $800 and varies based on the desired size and length of the Locs.
